One of the most powerful things about online learning? The connections it creates.

During our EPPS Online pilot at the University of Auckland English Language Academy (ELA), Minxi, Yuxi, and Xingyan not only met their English language goals from their home country—they also built a close friendship.

So close, that when they arrived in Auckland to begin their Master’s degrees at the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education and Social Work, and Auckland Law School, they chose to live together!

After settling into Semester 2, they visited ELA to meet their EPPS Online teacher Sarah Hallis and Senior teacher Daniela Ritchie, in person
